Stacey is a native of Maine and has been providing exceptional hair and waxing services in Virginia for over ten years. Ongoing education is extremely important to her to stay up to date on all of the latest fashion and color trends. She is certified in many areas involving cutting and color techniques, which also include being a Certified Redken Color Specialist. Stacey specializes in texturizing/razor cutting and all chemical services, including color, lightening, perming and straightening services.
She is an outgoing, proud Mom of grown-up twin boys and an even prouder Mimi to her two granddaughters. Stacey loves to travel, shop (mostly for new flip-flops) and spend time at the beach in her spare time.
Shante Harris

Shante' is a leading-edge, second-to-none cosmetologist with over fifteen years in the industry. Every client is uniquely personalized through this Hanover, Virginia native's professional, wide-range skills. In conjunction with Shante's Business Management degree, and belief that continuous education aids in successful careers, she imparts her cosmetology talents to clients via Unisex Cuts, Color, Waxing, Perms, Relaxers, Formal Makeup Artistry, and Upstyling. She partners with local-area photographers, and her work is published in media that includes Senior Study Hall, Richmond Bride, Senior Style Guide, Pretty Pear Bride, and Modern Teen Style.
Shante's certifications include: The Business of Balayage (Essentials & Advance), Brazilian Blowout, Babe Hair Extensions, Classic Men's Barbering, Straight Razor Shaving, Mirabella Bridal Makeup, Dress Your Face Master Class, Redken Master Specialist, and several classes under MAC Cosmetics.
Outside of professionally and skillfully making her clients' day, she dedicates her time with family, friends, dancing, travelling, experiencing new things, and attending church as Shante is humbly secure with who she is in Christ.

Maddy
New Talent/Jr Stylist.
We are so happy to have Madalynn Copeland join us here at the salon, as our newest talent! Maddy comes to us fresh from Beauty School but certainly isn't new to the salon. She started coming to Waves Hair Studio to get her hair done when she was 12! Maddy has been a great fit for our salon and is working hard to serve you. She is available for both walk-ins and by appointment Tues-Sat.
I am a recent graduate of Empire Beauty School and I am ready to make you beautiful! I am always learning and growing my knowledge of hair, and I am looking forward to continuing my education. In school I studied hair color techniques and I found a love for color services, specifically fashion colors.
Outside of hair, I like to watch new movies and TV shows (I'm always open to suggestions) and my favorite series is Star Wars. I love to work with animals and I have a dog and bearded dragon of my own.
